The Matteson Family

Eric, Rachel, Izzy, and Zoey (and Chocolate Lab, Kona) are a family overflowing with love.  I met up with the Matteson’s on a hot summer evening in my favorite meadow in San Diego. Izzy and Zoey loved skipping, frolicking, and twirling around the sun drenched  fields.  Rachel is an absolutely beautiful person; inside and out, while Eric’s tender personality shone through as he played lovingly with his girls.  Thank you for being such a wonderful family, I hope you enjoy this beautiful time in your lives.

Encinitas Love-The Burrage Family

Last time I met up with the Burrage Family, baby Parker was just a couple weeks old.  Fast forward seven months, and this family is just as sweet, and beautiful.  We spent a Wednesday evening relaxing at the family’s Encinitas home.  Dylan played with trucks in his sandbox, Parker scooted around a blanket on the grass, and Scott and Jaclyn warmly embraced each other.  There were so many sweet moments spent with this family; I just stepped back and took it all in.

An Urban Kind of Love

Deb and Joey are just about as perfectly matched as you could imagine.  With their unique style and creative ideas, their wedding day was absolute perfection.  On a warm, June afternoon their Kensington Craftsman home was our starting location.  Nestled among lush trees, and succulent gardens, Deb and Joey lovingly snuggled; and at that moment all seemed right in the world.  With a quick jaunt into the urban village of City Heights, the couple walked around with their best friends, stopping to admire vibrant murals.  We made our way to Boulevard Hall, a beautiful venue, located on El Cajon Boulevard.  The venue was a perfect location for an evening filled with magical moments.  Deb and Joey to proclaimed their love, celebrated with their friends and family, and in leu of a first dance, these two performed rock song after rock song for their adoring guests.  This urban, San Diego Wedding was an absolute dream.
