Cute, little Tyler turned one on Christmas day, and his family wanted to celebrate with some fun on the beach.  Classic, breathtaking, Coronado is where we ended up.  The sand was bright white, and  the sun was warm and golden, as the Hicks family played on this Winter day.  Tyler was so enamored with his beautiful teenage sister, Katelyn,  He is one lucky guy to have such an energetic and fun loving sister.  Kara, Phillip, Katelyn, and Tyler even splashed around the icy Pacific Ocean.  Thank you for a very fun afternoon.  Happy first birthday, Tyler!    

How incredibly gorgeous is this little, blue eyed girl?  The Collins family got together for a photo session on a cool winter day in January.  This month is exceptionally meaningful, as it marks the first birthday of their sweet girl, Alice.  Alice has such a beautiful spirit; independent, inquisitive, and perceptive.  Much of her afternoon was spent studying leaves, and rocks as we traipsed our way through Old Poway Park.  Thank you Brandon, Bobbie, and Alice for allowing me to capture some beautiful moments between the three of you.  Happy first birthday, Alice!    

Not only is this family beautiful on the outside, they are equally beautiful on the inside.  I have the honor of teaching Kindergarten right next door to Shari.  Shari is kind, calm, well-respected, and naturally beautiful.  So, when Shari asked if I was willing to take her family’s photos, I was delighted.  Chris, Shari, Aidan, and Jonah were wonderful to work with.  Although ts was a cold and blustery day at Windansea Beach, the sun made its appearance, to create a beautifully lit La Jolla evening.           

I was able to capture so many sweet moments as the beautiful Phillips family vacationed in Carlsbad, California.  Although it was a chilly way to start the new year, Jeff, Tarah, Quinn and Willow had a wonderful time playing in the sand, and cuddling under thick blankets. As the Pacific Ocean crashed down, and the sun set beneath the horizon, I felt a strong sense of love between this family.  Thank you for spending your last evening of vacation with me.  Happy travels, and happy New Year!
