A Pacific Beach Engagement

It felt appropriate for Andy and Kristina to revisit the exact location where they met a few years ago.  Fast forward a few years, and I met these lovebirds for a Pacific Beach engagement session.  To kick off our evening, we began with a beer at the Tap Room, then gradually made our way to Crystal Pier.  As the sun set, a vibrant streak of coral burst through the marine layer.  These to were so fun and up for any adventure.  When I casually suggested that Andy and Kristina get in the Pacific Ocean, they were more than happy to jump into waist deep crashing waves.  Congratulations to a sweet and beautiful couple.  I wish you so much joy in your lives together!

At Home with the Palomino Family

There’s only one word to describe this family, beautiful.  A classic, timeless shoot, which depicts the love between a growing little family.   I’ll let the photographs tell this family’s story, as they warmly embrace the newest addition to their family, baby Oliver.

A Poway Love Story-Nick + Anna

Weeping willow trees provided shade against the warm summer sunlight, which happened to be the perfect backdrop for this romantic Poway wedding.  It isn’t hard to see that college sweethearts, Nick and Anna are absolutely in love.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as Nick and Anna read their sincere, handwritten vows.   Photographing this easy going, joyful, wedding my pleasure!  Nick and Anna, thanks for bringing me along to capture the love in your special day.  I wish you so much happiness on your journey through life together.

-A special thank you to Marie Monforte for your photography assistance and talent!

The Matteson Family

Eric, Rachel, Izzy, and Zoey (and Chocolate Lab, Kona) are a family overflowing with love.  I met up with the Matteson’s on a hot summer evening in my favorite meadow in San Diego. Izzy and Zoey loved skipping, frolicking, and twirling around the sun drenched  fields.  Rachel is an absolutely beautiful person; inside and out, while Eric’s tender personality shone through as he played lovingly with his girls.  Thank you for being such a wonderful family, I hope you enjoy this beautiful time in your lives.

Encinitas Love-The Burrage Family

Last time I met up with the Burrage Family, baby Parker was just a couple weeks old.  Fast forward seven months, and this family is just as sweet, and beautiful.  We spent a Wednesday evening relaxing at the family’s Encinitas home.  Dylan played with trucks in his sandbox, Parker scooted around a blanket on the grass, and Scott and Jaclyn warmly embraced each other.  There were so many sweet moments spent with this family; I just stepped back and took it all in.
